Karen, great post. It has always been interesting to see how different people pay different prices for their mortgage. One of the things that I have noticed is that people who get into FHA/VA loans generally pay about the same because the fees that can be charged are regulated by HUD. I am not saying that each borrower pays the *exact* same, but the differences seem to be smaller. Just a guess — you may get some ranting from people about this topic and I would be curious to see how many of these people are upset with their broker have an FHA/VA loan.
